At the Sunshine Coast Skating Club, we pride ourselves on fostering an environment where youth can shine, grow, and excel in the invigorating world of skating. As a proud not-for-profit organization, our heart beats to the rhythm of our skaters' blades, and our spirit soars with their leaps and spins. But our success story is not just written on the ice; it’s penned by the generous hands of our volunteers and the supportive framework of our fundraising endeavors.

Your Role in The Story

Our mission is to ensure that the cost of our programming remains accessible to all. To achieve this, we rely on a robust foundation of fundraising dollars. Our volunteers don't just give their time; they are the architects of dreams and the catalysts for our participants’ achievements, on and off the ice.

Opportunities that Sparkle

Throughout the skating season, we open several windows of opportunity for volunteers to get involved. Whether you are a parent, a student seeking service hours, or a community member with a passion for making a difference, we have a role for you. Here are just a few ways you can help:

Event Support: Baking, organizing, set up, take down, clean up. 

Fundraising Events: Source raffle ticket prizes, support with organizing raffle ticket sales, join the fundraising committee.

Club Promotion: Help us spread the word about our club and recruit new members by participating in community events.

Operations Assistance: Offer support with administrative tasks or maintenance efforts to keep our programs running smoothly. Join a committee or special projects team.
