FEES & FUNDRAISING:
To keep our programs running smoothly and affordably, our club includes a few additional fees and policies as part of the registration process. These fees help support club operations, offer fundraising opportunities and encourage family involvement.
SKATE CANADA MEMBERSHIP FEE
All participants must be a registered Skate Canada member and must pay the annual membership fee. The membership fee will automatically be added to your invoice when registering for a program in the current skating season (Skate Canada seasonal year runs September 1st through to August 31st of the following year). This is a mandatory, non-refundable fee set by Skate Canada. It provides insurance coverage for your skater and grants access to Skate Canada programs such as CanSkate and others.
RAFFLE BOOK FUNDRAISER
Each skater is charged for at least one raffle booklet as part of registration. This is an important fundraiser that helps support our programs and keeps registration fees as low as possible.
Note: The cost of the raffle booklet may vary depending on the program your skater is registered in.
Click here for full details on raffle booklet charges.
How it works:
- Sell the tickets of your booklet from registration and keep the money
Once you receive your raffle booklet, you can sell the tickets to friends and family. You keep the money from the ticket sales of your original booklet, so you're reimbursing yourself for the initial cost. - Sell more, support more
Additional raffle booklets are available if you'd like to sell more. Proceeds from extra booklets go directly to the club and volunteer hours selling tickets count toward your required volunteer hours.
The Sunshine Coast Skating Club accepts the following credit cards for payment:
